This home was staged on a minimal budget.

Home Staging is not interior decorating.  The objective is not to design the home with all the bells and whistles of a home you will be living in.  Home Staging is art of re-design to enhance its' values.  To show the size of a room, To allow the buyer to imagine how their belongings will fit into the space.

The best way to sum up staging a vacant home is, minimalist.
This is another example of staging on a "budget".
This Master Bedroom is very large and the budget allowed for a bed, 2 side tables with lamps, and a picture.  The After picture doesn't reflect how small this bed looks in this large room.
You want that WOW factor when the buyer walks into the master bedroom so you need to spend the few extra dollars to get everything you need for that WOW factor.
That's what good staging does.  It makes the buyer remember your home for the right reasons.
I decided to spend the majority of my budget on the family room and kitchen.  These two rooms are connected and I felt it was important to be able to provide an inviting feeling in these areas.  The after picture don't do the room justice.  The yellow chairs are vibrant in the room and the couch has beautiful colored pillows that help the furniture pop.  The walls of windows were kept unobstructed.  They are the best asset in the room and it is important to highlight that value.
The pictures below are of the same Family Room from a different angle.  The plant in the corner adds warmth and makes the room feel comfortable without distracting from the wall of beautiful windows.
The Master Bath was large but felt cold.  With tile on the walls, the floors, the vanity's, everwhere was cold tile.  I used chocolate brown and crimson accents.  The brown matched perfectly with the tile color and the crimson splashed around the room added much needed color.  The plant in the cornet softened the tub area.  My goal was to soften the room but not take away from the large spa tub with the fireplace on the wall next to it.
