BATHROOM MAKEOVER
Out dated bath has peeling wallpaper, old light fixtures, cracked mirror and old shower curtain.
Client was on a limited budget so a complete overhaul of the bath was not an option but we knew we had to do something to breathe life into this tired room.

Step One:  Remove outdated wallpaper.  This is a tedious task but I never suggest painting over wall paper unless you have no other choice.
Step Two:  Remove the old, cracked medicine cabinet.  We patched the hole instead of putting in a new medicine cabinet.  There is plenty of storage in the bath and removing the cabinet made the room look larger.
Step Three:  Remove hardware, mirror, and lightening.
Step Four:  Prepare the room for painting.  Wash walls to remove left over wallpaper paste, lightly sand cabinets and cover fixtures to protect from paint.
Three days and less than $1000 and the old bathroom is just a memory.  Always take your time, do good work and watch your finances and you can re-do any room in your home without spending a fortune.

Cabinets       A gallon of primer and espresso paint, new hardware and
these cabinets look brand new.  No need to buy expensive
new cabinets when you can get these results.
Mirror          A $100 framed mirror hung over the sink adds a touch of
class to the room that the old cracked mirror glued to the wall
                      could never do.
Wall Color   A soft gold wall color compliments the new mirror, art work,
                      and lighting fixture.
Lighting       Updated lighting fixtures give you the biggest bang for your
buck, in any room in the house.  An inexpensive light from
the local home improvement store is a beautiful addition.
Art Work     Some simple, inexpensive artwork with a hint of the wall color
in the pieces ties the room together.
Accessories  Adding fresh new accessories helps give an updated look
                       to the room.
